Recipe Introduction


welsh rarebit is at it's simplest just toast with melted cheese on it, this makes it even better though!





List of Ingredients



• 1 tbs mustard powder
  
• salt and cayenne pepper
  
• 1 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  
• 1 tbs beer + 3/4 cup (you heard me) open it a few hours before using
  
• 1 lb cheddar cheese (grated or in small pieces)
  
• 1 tbs butter
  
• 1 egg
  
• hot buttered toast
  






Instructions



1. In a bowl mix mustard powder with a pich each salt and cayenne, worcestershire sauce and the tbs beer
   
2. In a double boiler melt cheese and butter (stirring with a wooden spoon). Gradually add in the 3/4 cup beer.
   
3. Add in the worcestershire mix and finally a whole egg blending vigorously until well combined.
   
4. Serve on hot buttered toast!
