Buttered Mushroom Pasta

Recipe Introduction
Vegetarian friendly. Cheese can be omitted and olive oil used in frying for vegans.
I don't like parmesan. I find a little dollop of cream (while different in effect) can also work here. If not using parmesan add a pimch of salt
List of Ingredients
- 90g butter
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- 250g swiss brown mushrooms (sliced)
- 2 tbs chopped fresh basil (or 1/4 tsp dried)
- black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 250g pasta
Instructions
- Melt butter in frypan. Saute mushrooms 2-3 minutes. Mix in pepper, herbs.
- Cook pasta in pleny of boiling water until al dente. Drain.
- Toss through mushroom mixture and cheese. serve immediately with crusty bread.
