Spaghetti with Mushrooms and Prosciutto

if u can't get prociutto use bacon or smoked salmon
List of Ingredients
- 400g dried spaghetti
- 100g thinly sliced prociutto
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves crushed
- 300g cup mushrooms, sliced
- 100g ****take mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbs chopped chives
- salt/ ground black pepper to taste.
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti in large saucepan of salted, boiling water until al dente. Drain reserving 1/4 cup liquor.
- Preheat grill on med-high. Cook prosciutto 2-3 mins each side until crisp.
- Cool prosciutto then crumble it. Heat a large frypan over med-high heat. Add oil and garlic, cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add mushrooms and cook, stirring frequently for 2-3 minutes or until mushrooms are tender.
- Stir spaghetti and reserved liquor into the mushroom mixture and heat through. Remove from heat.
- Stir in prosciutto and chives, season and serve immediately.
Final Comments
serve with salad or buttery steamed veg
