    Fish Wraps

    Source of Recipe

    Stef's own

    Recipe Introduction

    serves 4

    List of Ingredients

4 fish fillets (cheap is ok, I used hoki)
    butter
    lemon wedges
    4 tortillas or pita bread
(any three or more of the following that your kids will eat- lettuce, baby spinach, sprouts, cucumber sticks, grated carrot (or carrot sticks), diced tomato, capsicum strips, pineapple chunks, apple slices, sultanas, celery sticks, beetroot pieces, onion slices, chopped fresh herbs, sunflower seeds, grated zucchini, blanced brocolli or sweet corn, radish slices, etc etc etc)
    thai spice mix
    hoisin sauce.

    Recipe

    1. Cover the fish fillets with spice mix. Fry in butter until cooked.

    2.place on tortilla

    3. Allow the kids to add whatever salads they want, squeeze over lemon and drizzle over sauce.

variations - one of my sons prefers tofu to fish, can use squid, prawn, kangaroo strips, chicken, beef, lamb, pork, mince sauted mushrooms or whatever you fancy.
Potato, chickpea or lentil curry (not too runny ones) are nice instead of meat. then team with raita.
-use any spices or marinade you like and try different sauces or dressings.

Great for eating out of doors!
