Recipe Introduction
Obviously there are millions of combinations that work for a picnic. However for those who wonder where to start grab one of my ideas and mix and match to find your perfect outdoor meal.
This is a simple meal good for hiking or quick get-aways for 2.
List of Ingredients
- 4-6 wholemeal rice crackers
- 2 tins flavoured tuna (or mix up some tuna with red onion and lemon juice in a container)
- snow pea sprouts or cold roasted capsicum (optional)
- 2 bananas
- 1 small punnet strawberries (or berries of your choice or dried fruit)
- 2 small bottles gingerbeer
- 1 small block dark chocolate or pack of chips to share
- small fork or spoon to serve tuna and wet cloth to clean selves.
Instructions
- Divide up load. Walk to good picnic place.
- Spoon tuna onto rice crackers with sprouts or capsicum. Finish with fruit and drinks.
- Eat chocolate or chips later on way back to keep up energy.
