Recipe Introduction
This is extremely simple but a good side with grilled or fried fish or chicken or a spicy moroccan casserole. To make a meal of it add in chicken, chickpeas, zucchini, tomato, sultanas, pinenuts, orange flesh or juice or anything you like.
List of Ingredients
- cous cous
- water or chicken or vegetable stock
- 1 lemon
- knob of butter
- 1 purple onion or spring onions
- parsely or coriander finely chopped
- cinnamon (optional)
- slivered almonds (optional)
Instructions
- Soak couscous in warm water or stock
- add in zest and juice(optional) of the lemon and all other ingredients.
- Fluff with a fork and serve
