Recipe Introduction
this recipe was named by the daughter of a friend of mine. Noone likes a boiled to death unseasoned brussels sprout.
List of Ingredients
- brussels sprouts (3-5 per person)
- salt
- butter
- black pepper
Instructions
- Cut bottoms of brussels sprouts and make X incision inthem.
- Bring salted water to the boil.
- Throw the brussels sprouts in for 5-7 minutes only (until bright green)
- Drain, toss through bitter and grind over pepper.
Final Comments
You may use extra virgin olive oil or macadamia oil instead of butter. For extra flavour add a squeeze of lemon if liked.
