    Recipe Introduction


    this recipe was named by the daughter of a friend of mine. Noone likes a boiled to death unseasoned brussels sprout.


    List of Ingredients


    • brussels sprouts (3-5 per person)
    • salt
    • butter
    • black pepper


    Instructions


    1. Cut bottoms of brussels sprouts and make X incision inthem.
    2. Bring salted water to the boil.
    3. Throw the brussels sprouts in for 5-7 minutes only (until bright green)
    4. Drain, toss through bitter and grind over pepper.


    Final Comments


    You may use extra virgin olive oil or macadamia oil instead of butter. For extra flavour add a squeeze of lemon if liked.
