Wok Fried Mushrooms with honey and soy

List of Ingredients
- 1 tbs sesame seeds
- 400g button mushrooms, trimmed
- 1 tbs peanut oil
- 200g swiss brown mushrooms, trimmed
- 1 tbs oyster sauce (can use vegetarian sauce instead)
- 2 tbs soy sauce
- 1 tbs honey
- 6 green shallots, thinly sliced
- 1 small red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
Instructions
- Heat wok over high heat. Add sesame seeds and cook, stirring constantly for 2-3 minutes or until golden.
- Remove and set aside. add oil, mushrooms to wok and stirfry 1 minute until well coated in oil.
- Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey and stirfry 2 min until mushrooms just tender.
- Add shallots, chilli and sesame seeds and stir fry one minute. Serve immediately.
Final Comments
This makes a great topping for a beef steak. Alternatively serve over rice or pasta with some dressed salad greens on the side.
