    Brussels Sprouts not for vegos

    People who are scared to eat brussels sprouts may find this recipe a more accessible variation.

    Very very phobic people should shred the brussels sprouts and add them at the same time as the chinese cabbage for minimal noticability


    List of Ingredients


    • oil
    • 2 rashers bacon
    • ginger (grated)
    • brussels sprouts (maybe 6- quartered)
    • 1/4 chinese cabbage, shredded
    • sesame seeds (regular and black or just the one)
    • pinch brown sugar
    • sesame oil
    • oyster sauce


    Instructions


    1. Heat oil, add in the chopped rashers of bacon and ginger and fry.
    2. Add quartered brussels sprouts (if shredding add later)
    3. When bacon cooked well add cabbage (and shredded sprouts?) Toss in sesame seeds and oil and brown sugar.
    4. Stir well so cabbage wilts. Serve drizzled with oyster sauce. A great partner for chicken.


    Final Comments


    I suspect crab meat would go well instead of bacon. But then i have never liked bacon
