Garlic Fingers

Recipe Introduction
Garlic fingers are great. This is sort of a square/bread, but it is so good. Maybe soon I'll start to work on the traditional pizza type.
List of Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh garlic, coarsley chopped
- 1 c onions, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tbs butter
- 2 cups flour
- 2 ts baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbs parsely chopped
- 1 ts dill
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 c sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (to taste really.. this is just a starting point)
Instructions
- Prehat oven to 450 degrees F.
- Gently saute garlic and onions in about 2 tbs of butter about 10minutes until tender but not brown.
- Stir flour, baking powder and salt into mixing bowl. Cut in 1/4 butter until mixture is crumbly.
- Add parsely, dill, garlic and milk. Stir until evenly moist.
- Pour into well greased 8 x8 pan. Spread garlic and onions on top and cover with cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool slightly, cut and serve with Donair sauce.
Final Comments
I really like the dill in this recipe. Not enough people cook with dill i think.
