A tangy crunchy salad that everyone seems to like.
List of Ingredients
- 4 large carrots
- 2 celery sticks
- 2 tbsp roughly chopped fresh cilantro
- Dressing
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- To create flower shaped carrot slices, cut several grooves lengthwise along each carrot before slicing.
- Slice each carrot into very thin slices, using the slicing cutter on a grater.
- Combine the carrot celery and cilantro in a bowl. Combine the dressing ingredients in a seperate bowl.
- Just before serving, toss the carrot, celery, and cilantro mixture in the dressing and transfer to a serving dish.
Final Comments
Any oil can be used in the place of the sesame, but the dish will lose its distinctive Thai taste.
