    Everyone needs to know how to cooked jasmine rice the right way. Its so tasty that way.


    List of Ingredients


    • Open Pan Method
    • generous 1 cup Thai jasmine rice
    • 4 cups water
    • Absorption Method
    • generous 1 cup thai jasmine rice
    • scant 2 cups water


    Instructions


    1. Rinse the rice in a strainer under cold running water and leave to draiin.
    2. Bring water to a boil. Add the rice, stir and return to a medium boil. Cook uncovered for 8-10 minutes.
    3. Drain and fork thoroughly.

    A final thought about freezing left over rice. its a good idea. Do it in an air tight plastic container. This will also seperate the rice grains, a great touch for stir fries.
