    Great dessert for a cold winter night.


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups boiling water
    • 1 cup brown sugar
    • 2 tbls butter
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 2 tsp baking powder
    • 1 cup flour
    • 1/2 cup raisins


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
    2. Combine boiling water, brown sugar and butter in an 8x8 pan. Heat til boiling in the oven.
    3. Mix the sugar, milk, baking powder, flour, and raisins together. Don't beat. Add to boiling syrup.
    4. Bake 25 minutes.
    5. Serve warm with cream.
