Three Bean Salad

One of my favorites.
List of Ingredients
- 1 can waxed yellow beans, drained
- 1 can green beans, drained
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
- 1/2 cup celery, sliced
- 1 med. green pepper, cut into thin rings
- 1 med. sweet onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup salad oil
- 3/4 cup cider vinegar
Instructions
- Toss beans, celery, green pepper and onion in a large bowl.
- Throuroughly mix sugar, oil, and vinegar together. Pour over vegetables tossing to coat evenly.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours: tossing several times.
- Serve chilled.
Final Comments
You can also add a can of garbanzo beans to this recipe. Mom always did.
