Apple Dumplings

Prepare in small bowl:
1/2 C sugar
1/2 t cinnamon
Set aside.
Peel and core:
6 apples
In medium saucepan, put
1 C sugar
2 C water
3 T butter
1/2 t cinnamon
Boil 3 minutes.
Fill apple cavities with dry mix and dot of butter. Wrap in regular pie dough. Pour the liquid around apples.
Bake at 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes
