List of Ingredients
4 large baking potatoes
2/3 C margarine
2/3 C flour
6 C milk
3/4 t salt
3/4 t pepper
4 green onions, chopped
12 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
1 1/4 C shredded cheddar cheese
8 oz. sour cream
1 heaping T chicken soup baseRecipe
Wash, prick and bake potatoes until done. Let cool and cut in 1/2" cubes leaving peelings on. Melt margarine over low heat, add flour and stir until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Add potatoes, salt, pepper, onions, bacon, cheese and chicken base. Cook until thoroughly heated. Stir in sour cream. Garnish with additional bacon and cheese if desired. Can add extra milk if too thick.
