A backpacking favorite!
List of Ingredients
1 medium onion
2 tablespoons margarine
2 cups quick rice
1 package Knorr's Beef/tomato Soup Mix (originally Oxtail, but that is no longer being made)
1 cup salami chunks (the no refridgeration needed kind)Recipe
Peel and chop/dice onion, saute until transparent.
Add rice and 5 cups hot water.
Partially cover and cook until rice is nearly tender.
Add soup mix and more water if too thick
Cook for 5 minutes
Add salami and heat through.
Serves 4 (double if needed)
