List of Ingredients




1.5 cups powdered sugar
1 cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 egg
2.5 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tardar
granulated sugar

Recipe



Mix powdered sugar, butter, vailla, almond extract and egg. Stir in remaining ingredients except granulated sugar. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours.

Heat oven to 375. Divide dough into halves. Roll each half 3/16 inch thick on lightly floured board. Cut into desired shapes with 2 to 2.5 inch cookie cutters; sprinkle with granulated sugar. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake until edges are light brown, 7 to 8 minutes. About 5 dozen cookies. Can decorate if desired.
