    Manijeh Badiozamani was a substitute teacher at Carmel Junior High School. An Iranian immigrant, she was a dear friend and lovely person. This cake recipe is always asked for whenever I serve it. Whenever Jeff is feeling put upon, he slings together this cake recipe.


    List of Ingredients




    Mix together:
    1 stick melted butter or margarine (1/2 cup)
    2 eggs
    1 box yellow cake mix

    Beat together:
    1 8-ounce package cream cheese
    2 eggs
    2/3 box powdered sugar

    Recipe



    Pour mixture over batter.

    Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350.

    Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving. May be made ahead and frozen.
