    Mom would make a large chocolate sheet cake, and cover the cake with this icing, and then drizzle some sort of chocolate sauce over it. It was to DIE for. I just love this icing.

    List of Ingredients




    1 lb. powdered sugar
    6 Tbsp. butter
    3-4 Tbsp. milk
    1 ½ tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt

    Recipe



    In a small skillet over medium heat, heat butter until lightly brown.

    In a large bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat all ingredients until very smooth, adding more milk if necessary to make a good spreading consistency.

    Fills and frosts 2 layer cake or frosts 13 x 9 inch cake, or two dozen cupcakes.
