    Helen (Wright) Boggs always made this treat for the Boggs cousins. It was a favorite dessert at all the picnics.

    List of Ingredients




    1 cup sugar
    1 cup light corn syrup
    1 cup peanut butter
    6 cups Kellogg’s Rice krispies
    6-oz. package Nestle’s semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    6-oz. package Nestle’s butterscotch morsels

    Recipe



    Boil 1 cup sugar and 1 cup light corn syrup in a 3 quart pan. Remove from heat. Blend in 1 cup peanut butter. Then add 6 cups Kellogg’s Rice krispies. Press into a buttered 13 x 9 inch pan.

    Melt over hot (not boiling) water one 6-oz. package each of Nestle’s semi-sweet chocolate morsels and Nestle’s butterscotch morsels. Spread this mixture over the top of the Rice Krispies and chill for five minutes or until the top is firm. Cut into 48 2-inch by 1-inch bars.
