Mom's Spaghetti Pie

Spaghetti base:
Grease a 9 inch pie pan with PAM or pan grease,
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
1st layer:
Cook enough thin spaghetti (about 3/4ths of a lb.) to fill a 9-inch pie pan mostly full. (Leave enough room for the sauce on top).
-In a large bowl melt 3 Tbsps butter and stir in 1/3 c. parmesan cheese and 1 egg. Mix well. Add cooked spaghetti and toss until spaghetti is coated with mixture. Place spaghetti into greased 9-inch pie pan and press down.
2nd layer:
-Mix approx. ¾ cup ricotta cheese (add a small amount of sour cream if ricotta is too thick), 2 -3 Tbsps. Parmesan cheese, and some parsley flakes together. Spread a thin layer over spaghetti base mixture and press and smooth into spaghetti base.
3rd layer:
-Mix together spaghetti sauce (3/4ths of a jar) of choice and cooked sausage. You may want to add some sugar and spices to sauce. Spoon over top of the ricotta layer. You may cover with saran wrap and refrigerate until ready to bake.
Recipe
Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top, and then sprinkle Italian seasonings over cheese. Return to oven and continue baking about 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
