Turkey Gravy
Recipe Introduction
We can't have Thanksgiving without this Turkey Gravy.
List of Ingredients
1/3 cup butter
6 tablespoons cornstarch
1 full teaspoon salt
Pepper
¼ tsp. poultry seasoning
2 cups turkey broth (or combination turkey and chicken)
3cups milk (use 2 cups. Half and half)
Recipe
In large saucepan, melt butter. Add 2 cups of the broth. Using a wire whisk, add cornstarch a little at a time until it is all blended in.
Add the salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning to the cornstarch mixture. Stir in the rest of the broth and milk. Heat over med – high heat until it comes to a boil, stirring all the time.
Turn the heat down and let it cook for 5 minutes stirring enough to keep it from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
If it is too thick, add some milk.
