Dink's Corn Dodgers

List of Ingredients
2 cups white corn meal
5 tbsp. tomato catsup
1 medium small onion
water
1 1/2 tsp. bacon drippings
1/2 tsp. baking powder
good sprinkling of salt and pepperRecipe
Mix well dry ingredients, then add onion, bacon drippings and catsup in that order until all are well mixed. Now add water slowly until a thick batter is made. Do not let batter be thin. Allow to stand at least ten minutes and form into small balls with spoon and drop into very hot deep fat in which fish have been fried.
Delicious with fried fish. Enough for 3 or 4 hungry people.
