    1 cup corn meal
    2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    2 cups cold water
    1 cup milk
    2 tbsp. melted lard

    Recipe



    Combine the corn meal, water and salt, and boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the milk, well beaten eggs and melted lard; mix well. Pour in a well-greased loaf pan or baking dish. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes in a moderately hot oven (400 degrees F.). Serve from pan in which baked.
