3/4 cup cooked sweet potatoes mashed smooth
4 tbsp. butter or shortening
1 1/14 cups flour
4 tbsp. baking powder
2 heaping tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup sweet milkRecipe
Mix potato, milk and melted butter. Add remaining dry ingredients sifted all together to make a soft dough. Turn out on floured board and toss lightly until outside looks smooth. Roll out half inch thick, cut with floured biscuit cutter. Place on greased tin and bake in hot oven (400 degrees F.) about 15 minutes.
