    List of Ingredients




    2 cups cake flour (sifted before measured)
    1/2 cup Crisco
    1 tsp. salt
    2-3 cup milk
    1 1/2 cups sugar

    3 tsp. baking powder

    4 egg yolks unbeaten
    1/3 cup milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla

    Recipe



    Measure into mixing bowl four, Crisco, salt, milk, and sugar. Now stir in 3 tsp. baking powder.

    Add egg yolks, milk, 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Blend by hand or mixer for two minutes. Makes two 9" layers. Bake in moderate oven (375) for 25-30 minutes. Frost with favorite white icing. Sprinkle top and sides of cake with shredded coconut.
