    THE MAMA'S COOK BOOK - Mrs. Geo. W. Robinson

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup butter
    1 cup sugar
    2 eggs
    2 cups flour
    3 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp vanilla
    3/4 cup milk

    Recipe



    Cream butter and sugar, beat until light, and add eggs one at a time beating after each is added. Sift flour and baking powder together. Add alternately with milk to which vanilla has been added. Pour into shallow pan which has been greased and floured. Sprinkle over the top with a mixture of the following.

    3 tbsp brown sugar
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 cup nutes
    1/2 tsp nutmeg
