    List of Ingredients




    Cake:
    1/4 lb. butter
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    2 eggs
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup chopped nuts
    1/2 cup flour
    1 tsp vanilla

    Fudge:
    3 cups sugar
    2 squares chocolate
    1 1/2 cups milk
    1 tablespoon white karo syrup
    1 pinch salt
    1 cup nutes (can leave out if nuts are used in cake)
    1 tablespoon vanilla
    1/2 lb. butter

    Recipe



    Melt in a double boiler 1/4 lb butter and 2 squares of unsweetened chocolate. Beat very light 2 eggs. Add 1 cup sugar. Beat light. Add chocolate mixture and pour in 1 cup chopped nuts with 1/2 cup flour poured over them. Add 1 tsp vanilla.

    Bake in moderate oven. Cut 1/2 box of marshmallows over cake (do not take cake out of baking pan) and cover with chocolate fudge.

    Fudge

    3 cups sugar
    2 squares chocolate
    1 1/2 cups milk
    1 tablespoon white karo syrup
    1 pinch salt
    1 cup nutes (can leave out if nuts are used in cake)
    1 tablespoon vanilla
    1/2 lb. butter

    Add butter and vanilla after candy is done.
