    List of Ingredients




    3 cups flour
    2 cups sugar
    4 eggs
    1/2 cup sweet milk
    1 cup mashed potatoes
    1/2 cup nuts
    1/2 lb. raisins
    1 cup butter
    1 tsp spices
    2 tsp cream of tartar
    1 tsp soda

    Recipe



    Method:

    Cream butter and sugar, add yolks of eggs and chocolate and potatoes. Sift dry ingredients with flour, add alternately with milk. Fold in beaten whites. Bake at 275 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

    I put 3 cups of nuts and 1 lb. of raisins and bake 2 hours.
