List of Ingredients
4 cups flour (almost 5 cups)
4 cups sugar (half brown sugar)
1 cup butter
5 eggs (beaten separately)
1 cup grated chocolate
1 cup jam or preserves (your choice)
1 cup seeded raisins
2 cups hot water
2 tsp soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmegRecipe
Cook in moderate oven. Ice the cake with white icing.
