Recipe Introduction
The MAMA'S COOK BOOK was prepared by the Pre-School Group of the Louisville (Georgia) Parent Teacher Association many years ago when most women knew the ins and outs of cooking. Therefore part of the directions are sometimes left out.
List of Ingredients
3 cup light brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup shelled pecans
1 cup light cream
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Recipe
Cook the sugar and cream until if forms a soft ball when tried in cold water. Do not stir after it begins to boil. When done remove from stove and add butter and vanilla. When outside of pan feels cool begin to beat the mixture. Spread on cake.
