    1 tbsp butter
    1 tbsp finely chopped onion
    1 tbsp flour
    1 cup well seasoned beef stock or bouillon
    2 cups milk
    3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
    2 tsp paprika

    Recipe



    Saute onion with butter over low heat until soft. Stir in flour and continue to cook for 3 minutes stirring frequently. Stir in cheese and paprika. Whisk until cheese has melted and soup is very hot.
