I wonder how a angel food cake pan would work? You want something tall because the frosting is tall.

1 box yellow cake mix,
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce. Or jar of fruit baby food
6 eggs
11 ounces mandarin oranges in light syrup -- 1 can


FROSTING
8 ounces Cool Whip®
1 small box vanilla pudding
15 1/2 ounces crushed pineapple in juice -- 1 can




Recipe

Preheat oven to 350*. Stir together 4 cake ingredients by hand for 2 mins.
Oil tall 9x13" pan. Pour batter into pan. Bake 30-40 mins.
Mix all frosting ingredients when cake is cool. Spread icing on cake.
Refrigerate.

Makes 16 servings
