    List of Ingredients


    • 1 fresh whole chichen
    • 1 tablespoon oil
    • 1 garlic clove; crushed
    • 1 onion ;chopped
    • 1 cup rice
    • 3 cups water
    • 1/8 teaspoon saffron
    • 1 cup broccoli, chopped


    Instructions


    1. In a kettle saute cut-up chicken in oil with crushed garlic clove and chopped onion until lightly browned. Drain any fat. Add rice, water, and saffron and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer, covered until the rice is tender, about 30 minutes. Add chopped broccoli, cover and cook for 5 minutes.
