This recipe comes in three parts.
List of Ingredients
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- Herb Stuffing (recipe follows)
- Spicy Gravy (recipe follows)
Instructions
- Combine ground beef, salt, pepper, egg, dry bread crumbs and milk. Shape into 12 4" patties. Place a mound of stuffing in center of each pattie and press meat around stuffing ball. Evenly space meat balls, sealed side down, in 9x13x2" pan. Bake in moderate oven (350) for 30 minutes. Pour hot spicy gravy over meat balls and bake for an additional 30 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
