    Chex Mix--Muddy Buddies

    List of Ingredients


    • 9 c. Chex (any kind)
    • 1/2 c. peanut butter
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • 1 c. chocolate chips
    • 1/4 c. margarine or butter
    • 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar in paper bag


    Instructions


    1. Put cereal in large mixing bowl. Put powdered sugar in paper bag and shake.
    2. Microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter, and margarine in a large mixing bowl for 1 minute.
    3. Stir and microwave for another 30 seconds or until smooth when stirred. Stir in vanilla and pour over cereal in bowl.
    4. Mix until evenly coated, then pour into paper bag. Roll closed and shake until the cereal is well coated.
    5. Spread on cookie sheet until chocolate is dry. Store in airtight bag.
