    List of Ingredients


    • 4-6 pork chops, trimmed
    • Seasoned salt
    • Pepper
    • 1/2 lb. mushrooms
    • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
    • 1 medium sliced onion
    • 1 crushed clove garlic
    • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    • 2 large green bell peppers (strips)
    • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    • 1 bay leaf
    • 1/2 tsp. dried sage


    Instructions


    1. Trim chops and season with salt and pepper, and brown in olive oil.
    2. Saute onion, garlic, green peppers, and mushrooms. Add tomato sauce, seasoned salt, bay leaf, lemon juice, and sage.
    3. Simmer until vegetables are tender. Take out bay leaf. Arrange chops in a 9x13 inch pan.
    4. Pour tomato mixture over chops and cover. Bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees.
