Pork Chops Italian Style

List of Ingredients
- 4-6 pork chops, trimmed
- Seasoned salt
- Pepper
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 medium sliced onion
- 1 crushed clove garlic
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 large green bell peppers (strips)
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp. dried sage
Instructions
- Trim chops and season with salt and pepper, and brown in olive oil.
- Saute onion, garlic, green peppers, and mushrooms. Add tomato sauce, seasoned salt, bay leaf, lemon juice, and sage.
- Simmer until vegetables are tender. Take out bay leaf. Arrange chops in a 9x13 inch pan.
- Pour tomato mixture over chops and cover. Bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees.
