    CRAZY MEATLOAF

     


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. ground Pork
    • 1/2 lb. ground Beef
    • 2 slices rye or white bread, torn into pieces
    • 1 tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice
    • 1/4 tsp. Pepper
    • 1 Egg
    • 1/2 cup Milk
    • 1 sm. onion
    • FILLING:
    • Sauerkraut 1 can (8 oz.) drained
    • 1 Med. Apple, chopped (about 1 cup)
    • 1/4 cup mashed potato mix dry
    • 2 tsp. caraway seed


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven 325º
    2. Mix ingredients throughly. Shape mixture into rectangle 16 by 10 inches, on waxed paper.
    3. Spread filling over mixture to within 1 inch of edges. Press filing into mixture with back of a spoon. Roll up beginning with the narrow end, using wax paper to roll. Pat ends to seal. Place rolls seam side down in pan.
    4. Bake 1 1/2 hrs. or until done. Let rest before slicing.
    5. FILLING: Mix all ingredients well
