    STUFFED FRANKS



    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pound large frankfurters (5-6)
    • 1/4 c finely chopped onion
    • 1 T butter
    • 2 c herb seasoned stuffing mix
    • 1/4 c catsup
    • 1 T sweet pickle relish
    • 3 slices sharp American cheese


    Instructions


    1. Cut franks lengthwise almost to opposite side.
    2. Sauté onion in butter.
    3. Combine stuffing, onion, catsup, relish, and 3/4 c water; mix well. Mound on top of franks.
    4. Place on baking sheet and bake 400° till heated, about 10-12 mins.
    5. Cut cheese slices into strips and place on top of franks, return to oven and heat till cheese melts.
