STUFFED FRANKS
List of Ingredients
- 1 pound large frankfurters (5-6)
- 1/4 c finely chopped onion
- 1 T butter
- 2 c herb seasoned stuffing mix
- 1/4 c catsup
- 1 T sweet pickle relish
- 3 slices sharp American cheese
Instructions
- Cut franks lengthwise almost to opposite side.
- Sauté onion in butter.
- Combine stuffing, onion, catsup, relish, and 3/4 c water; mix well. Mound on top of franks.
- Place on baking sheet and bake 400° till heated, about 10-12 mins.
- Cut cheese slices into strips and place on top of franks, return to oven and heat till cheese melts.
