IOWA*S GRILLED TURKEY TENDERLOINS
Serves 3-4
List of Ingredients
- 1 lb. Turkey tenderloins (3/4 to 1 inch thick)
- 1/4 cup Kikkoman soy sauce
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup dry sherry
- 2 Tblsps. lemon juice
- 2 tblsps. dehydrated onion
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
- Dash of black pepper
- Dash of garlic powder
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients together in shallow dish or Ziploc bag.
- Add turkey, turning to coat both sides. Cover and marinate in refrigerator several hours, turning occasionally.
- Grill over hot coals, 6 to 8 minutes per side depending on thickness. Tenderloins are done when center is no longer pink. Do not overcook. Serve on fresh buns.
Final Comments
P.S. I have used chicken breasts for this recipe as in my area turkey tenderloins are hard to find.
