    IOWA*S GRILLED TURKEY TENDERLOINS

    Serves 3-4


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. Turkey tenderloins (3/4 to 1 inch thick)
    • 1/4 cup Kikkoman soy sauce
    • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
    • 1/4 cup dry sherry
    • 2 Tblsps. lemon juice
    • 2 tblsps. dehydrated onion
    • 1/4 tsp. ginger
    • Dash of black pepper
    • Dash of garlic powder


    Instructions


    1. Blend all ingredients together in shallow dish or Ziploc bag.
    2. Add turkey, turning to coat both sides. Cover and marinate in refrigerator several hours, turning occasionally.
    3. Grill over hot coals, 6 to 8 minutes per side depending on thickness. Tenderloins are done when center is no longer pink. Do not overcook. Serve on fresh buns.

    P.S. I have used chicken breasts for this recipe as in my area turkey tenderloins are hard to find.
