Recipe Introduction

This resipe was given to me from a friend, its simular to apple pie, but does have a regular pie crust to it. but this is very very tasty.

List of Ingredients

cake:
1c. sugar
1t. baking powder
1c. unsifted flour
1t. vanilla
4T. Butter
1 lg egg
3 lg cooking apples

Topping:
3T. sugar
3T Melted Butter
1t. cinnimon
1 lg egg



Recipe

Add all cake ingredients to bowl except apples, mix well till mixture resumbles cornmeal.
spread into well buttered spring form pan,peel quarter & seed 3 lg cooking apples & slice, arrange in layers on top of crumb mixture.Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.

meanwhile:

Add topping ingredients to bowl, mix well till sugar is smoothe & disolved, spoon mixture over apples and bake 25-30 minutes longer or till top is firm.
