    Recipe Introduction

    In this recipe the cooking is done all in the mirowave. I have had lots of coments on this recipe, it has lots of flavor, if u make this 2-3 days in advance your recipe will have lots flavor. in this recipe i would suggest haveing all ingredients messured out & ready to add to recipe.

    List of Ingredients

    3T. shortening
    3T flour
    3/4C. onion
    1/2C. green onion
    1/2C. celery
    1/2C. green pepper
    1 or 2 lg garlic cloves
    1-6oz can tomato paste
    1-16oz diced tomatos
    1/2C. water
    1/2t salt(optional)
    1-1/2t lemon juice
    1/4-1/2t pepper
    1/8-1/4t red pepper(cayne)
    2 bay leaves
    1/2t sugar
    1/2t worchester sauce
    2lbs med to lg raw shrimp
    cooked rice




    Recipe

    in 2qt mirowaveable dish, melt shortening on high till melted,stir in flour, add onions,celery,Green pepper,garlic, mirowave on high 3-4 1/2 minutes till onions are soft.

    stir in tomato paste until smoothe, add remaining ingredients, except shrimp & rice.
    cover & mirowave 50% power 20-25 minutes, until sauce is alittle thick, stir in shrimp & cover 3 1/2-7 1/2 minutes.
    serve over rice

    i suggest if u have a high wattage mirowave to cut the cooking time in half, DO NOT OVER COOK THE SHRIMP.
