Lemon-Ginger Green Tea is a classic blend of tart, sweet, spicy and vegetal flavors. Lindsey Goodwin

This green tea recipe has the health benefits and zingy flavor of ginger plus the refreshing citrus taste of lemon thanks to Lemon-Ginger Simple Syrup.

Just make a batch of simple syrup in advance and you can make hot or iced Lemon-Ginger Green Tea in about six minutes.

    Ingredients:
    • 1 tbsp. green tea (such as Houjicha, Sencha or Kukicha)
    • 1 cup simmering water
    • 2 tsp Lemon-Ginger Simple Syrup
    • (For iced tea) 1 cup ice

    Preparation:
Steep the tea for three minutes, then strain and add Lemon-Ginger Simple Syrup. Serve hot or pour over ice.
