    Bread Machine Lowfat Onion Potato Bread

    Serves: 12

    • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
    • 1/2 cup potatoes, chopped
    • 1 tsp active dry yeast
    • 1-3/4 cups bread flour
    • 1/2 cup whole grain flour
    • 1/4 tsp onion salt
    • 1/4 tsp salt (necessary)
    • 1/2 cup water

    Preheat oven to 450°F. Place onion and potatoes in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover pan and steam 12-15 minutes or until tender. Transfer to a bowl and mash.

    All ingredients are measured for a small loaf and should be at room temperature. Add all ingredients in order specified for your bread machine. Set on standard setting, medium or normal baking cycle.
