What You'll Need:
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon black pepper (see Note)
• 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (see Note)
• 1/4 teaspoon paprika
• 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
• 4 (4-ounce) halibut steaks
What To Do:
1. In a small bowl, combine salt, black and ground red peppers, paprika, and garlic powder; mix well. Rub evenly over both sides of the fish.
2. Preheat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. When hot, remove from heat and, away from cooking surface, coat with cooking spray.
3. Return skillet to heat, add fish, and cook 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Serve immediately.
Note:
If you want to enjoy this in a less spicy version, try cutting the amount of black and ground red peppers by half.
