An easy way to add flavor to all your dishes, but especially fish, is by adding citrus to the other seasonings - either grated lemon, lime, or orange zest (the outermost skin) or fresh juice. Try it with our Citrus Splash Halibut and we think you'll fall in love.
What You'll Need:
• 1 medium onion, chopped
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 4 (4-ounce) halibut steaks or fillets
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
• 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
• 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
• 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
What To Do:
1. Coat a large skillet with cooking spray.
2. Preheat the skillet over medium heat; sauté the onion and garlic until tender.
3. Add the halibut to the skillet; season with salt and lemon-pepper then drizzle with orange juice and lemon juice, and sprinkle with parsley.
4. Cover, and cook over medium-low heat for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
