The flavor and crunchiness of toasted sesame seeds is the perfect complement to the soft flakiness of swordfish. We're sure our Sesame-Crusted Swordfish will be a family favorite!
What You'll Need:
• 1/2 cup lemon juice
• 1/4 cup vegetable oil
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 4 (4-ounce) swordfish steaks (1/2-inch-thick)
• 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
What To Do:
1. In a shallow dish, combine all the ingredients except the swordfish and sesame seeds; mix well. Add the swordfish and coat completely. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours, turning occasionally.
2. Coat a grill pan with cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat.
3. Remove the swordfish from the marinade; discard the marinade. Grill the fish for 4 to 5 minutes; turn the fish, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and grill for 4 to 5 more minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork. Serve immediately.
Note: When buying fish, make sure it has a fresh odor and a firm, moist texture. Any type of fresh seafood should always be wrapped tightly, stored in the refrigerator, and preferably used within a day of purchase.
