    Peachy Homemade Sherbet

    Take control of your frozen desserts and make them yourself, so you know they are absolutely fitting of a diabetes lifestyle. Our scrumptious Peachy Homemade Sherbet comes together easily, and of course is a healthy option.

    What You'll Need:
    • 1 1/4 cup fat-free milk, divided
    • 1/4 teaspoon almond or vanilla extract
    • 1/4 cup granulated Splenda
    • 1 cup chopped fresh peeled peaches

    What To Do:
    1. Pour 1 cup milk into ice cube trays and freeze until solid, about 3 hours.

    2. Combine remaining milk, extract and sugar substitute in blender. Add milk cubes and pulse until chunky.

    3. Add chopped peaches and pulse until mixture is smooth. Pour into a bowl, cover and freeze 4 hours or until frozen.

    4. Spoon into dessert bowls and garnish with extra sliced peaches.
