Rubbed Pork Chops

A spice rub is a really simple way to jazz up meat like these Rubbed Pork Chops right before cooking, especially when you don't have time to wait for a marinade to do the job. Experiment with different herbs and spices to create your own rubs, and when you find one you like, keep it handy in a spice jar for whenever you need loads of flavor in a hurry!
What You'll Need:
• 2 teaspoons ground cumin*
• 2 teaspoons dried oregano*
• 2 teaspoons chili powder*
• 2 teaspoons garlic powder*
• 4 (4-ounce) boneless pork chops
What To Do:
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Coat a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
2. In a shallow dish, combine all the ingredients except the pork chops.
3. Rub the seasoning mixture onto both sides of the pork chops and place in the baking dish. Spray the tops of the pork chops with nonstick cooking spray.
4. Bake for 20 to 22 minutes, or until tender and cooked through.
Notes:
*To make this a gluten-free recipe, use seasonings with no added starch from a gluten-containing source, and nonstick cooking spray with no flour added.
